Choosing and combining fonts
Finding a good font is good. Knowing how to combine it with another is even better. In an application, you generally use at least two fonts: one for headings, one for body text. Choosing fonts that work harmoniously together isn't instinctive, especially without a design background. Here are two tools to help you do just that. For further information, you can also consult our D esign System Typography and our Font atom documentation to understand how GoodBarber structures the typography in your applications.
Fontpair A simple, visual tool that suggests combinations of Google Fonts that work well together. Ideal if you're just starting out: you can see how each pairing looks before making your choice.
Fontjoy A pairing generator based on a neural network algorithm. It analyzes the visual properties of fonts to suggest harmonious pairings. You can lock a font you like and regenerate the others until you find the perfect combination.

Font license management
When you choose to use custom fonts, it's important to respect the associated licenses. These vary from font to font, and may include restrictions on use, particularly in mobile applications. It is essential to carefully read and understand the license conditions for each font you wish to use. Some fonts are free for personal use, while others require the purchase of a commercial license. GoodBarber encourages you to scrupulously respect the terms of these licenses to avoid any copyright problems or license infringements.
How to add custom fonts to your GoodBarber back office
You can integrate your custom font by clicking on the font selector in any editing menu, or from the menu :
Settings > Other settings > My fonts
Settings > Other settings > My fonts
You can import your fonts in the required formats (.woff2 for progressive web applications, .ttf or .otf for native applications). You can include up to ten custom fonts. Once added, these fonts will be available in all font selectors in your administration interface.
